We all have a thing about the waterfalls wherever we go. Waterfalls are very much fascinating to see and sometimes they are scary too if we are careless. But then who doesn’t like visiting waterfalls? So that is why we have decided to talk about the top waterfalls in India which are very beautiful and worth drooling over. 1. ATHIRAPALLY FALLS:

Athirapally surely give you the feeling of Déjà vu which is really something to be felt and so many people come here to see this place. This waterfall is quite famous even in Bollywood too. Remember the movie ‘Dil Se’? If yes then you must have heard the famous song starring Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta that is named ‘Jiya Jale’. Yes that song was shot here in this region right in front of Athirapally Falls. And who hasn’t seen the song starring our gorgeous Aishwarya Rai named ‘Barso Re Megha’! Well this shows that this falls, located in Thirussur district of Kerala has become a Bollywood attraction now. This waterfall is located amidst dense forest and that means you can also encounter some rare species of flora and fauna here. With facilities like, ‘jungles safari’, this place in Kerala is sure to provide you with the best of everything. That is why it is the most famous waterfalls in India.
2. DUDH SAGAR WATERFALLS:

Dudh Sagar waterfalls in India are the spot which is declared to be the party capital. We all know that Goa is known for crazy parties and what not but Dudh Sagar is the official place where you can go party for a splendid experience. With the fresh white waters cascading down effortlessly, Dudh Sagar, is located around 60 kms from Goa. With the melodies of the gushing water, be assured that a quick bath under the waterfall is sure to relax and soothe you. Isn’t it great to know that there is more to Goa than just partying? This one is surely one of the greatest waterfalls in India.
3. IRUPPU FALLS:

An enchanting town located on the top of the hills where the temperature is always cool and the there is this amazing waterfall named Iruppu falls. This is a gift from Coorg to us. Located in dense forest, these falls can be reached by trekking. An added attraction is the hanging bridge which is located just beside the waterfalls. If you are someone who loves taking pictures in front of breath taking views then this is your spot.
4. RAHALA WATERFALLS:

Rahala Waterfalls is a picture perfect getaway characterized by deodar forests, silver birch trees, a clear blue sky and fresh mountain air. This natural spectacle formed from the trickling of precipitous rocks and melting glaciers, is at the starting point of the climb to snow-covered Rohtang Pass. The sight of water tumbling down from a height of 2,501 meters (8337 feet), with the frosty pinnacles of the Himalayas in the backdrop leaves you breathless. The sound of cascading water, the sprawling greenery and the magnificent Himalayan backdrop make the place truly enchanting. It is one of the most famous waterfalls in India after Athirapally falls.
5. BUNDLA WATERFALLS:

Bundla waterfall is 2 kms from Palampur town. It is also a pilgrimage area for a lot of Hindu sages who live around the place and offer prayers and rituals. The place has a high level of rainfall during monsoon season while a large amount of snowfall during winters. The place also has various other attractive temples and beautiful places which are packed with tourists throughout the year making it one of the popular waterfalls in India.
Just let go of all those business class flights and those strict meetings that have taken up a lot of your time. Go for some last minute flights and make some sudden plans to this place and let yourself cross the rules that you have set for yourself. Make the most of this time and come out of your stress. Holidaying isn’t a bad thing really. You deserve it.
